Role Description
This is a full-time role for a HGV Class 1 Driver with Heavy Haulage Experience, located on-site in Widnes. The HGV Class 1 Driver will be responsible for driving and operating trucks, loading and unloading heavy haulage, and ensuring compliance with DOT regulations. Daily tasks will include transporting heavy machinery and equipment, adhering to road safety standards, and performing routine vehicle inspections and maintenance.
Qualifications
- CDL Class A license
- Experience in Truck Driving and handling heavy haulage
- Skills in Unloading heavy equipment
- Knowledge of DOT Regulations
- Strong understanding of Truck operations and maintenance
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work within a team
- Experience in the crane industry is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours, including possible weekends and nights
