ABOUT THE ROLE
The Executive Pastry Chef is a senior leadership role responsible for the entire Bakery & Pastry operation. This includes everything from fine dining desserts, afternoon tea, amenities to special event creations and bespoke requests. This role plays a key role in defining the hotel's culinary identity often contributing to its reputation, awards, and guest experience.
ABOUT YOU
- Proven management experience in luxury hotels, Michelin-starred restaurants, or high-end pastry kitchens
- Advanced expertise in desserts, chocolate and sugar work, and bakery fundamentals
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Experience with menu development and creative direction
- Solid understanding of cost control, budgeting, and kitchen operations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A strong desire to learn and develop a career within luxury hospitality
- Good level of written and spoken English
- Flexibility to work varied hours
- Takes pride in own professional grooming
- Ability and resilience to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Pride and attention to detail in your work
