About The Role
We are seeking a can-do attitude senior UK Sales talent and partner to drive commercial growth across the UK market, with a strong focus on Distribution System Operators (DSOs/DNOs), utilities, and energy ecosystem stakeholders. This role requires a hands-on, high-impact sales leader with a proven track record of selling grid solutions, smart metering infrastructure, and/or energy flexibility solutions into complex utility environments. You will be responsible for building pipeline from the ground up, engaging senior stakeholders, and converting strategic opportunities into long-term revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales of company visibility and flexibility solutions, and execute the UK grid solutions and flexibility strategy.
- Identify high-impact opportunities to expand market presence and customer base.
- Build and maintain business relationships across utilities, DSOs/DNOs, and partners.
- Represent the company in key industry engagements and strategic discussions.
- Identify and develop partnerships aligned with evolving industry trends.
Sales & Deal Execution
- Own and lead the end-to-end sales cycle: targeting, pipeline development, proposals, and deal closure.
- Drive complex enterprise sales within the utility sector, particularly with DSOs/DNOs.
- Lead bid management and RFP/tender submissions.
- Build and maintain robust account plans and pipeline visibility.
- Collaborate with European technical and delivery teams.
Operational & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Participate in strategic planning and product alignment discussions.
- Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and delivery teams.
- Analyze sales performance and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Support leadership alignment across initiatives.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 7–10+ years of B2B sales experience in energy/utilities/smart grid.
- Proven experience selling grid or flexibility solutions into DSOs/DNOs.
- Strong understanding of UK energy market and procurement processes.
- Ability to build pipeline and close complex deals.
- Experience managing RFPs and long sales cycles.
