We are currently seeking a Payroll & HR Co-ordinator to join our team in Cirencester.

The purpose

The key purpose of the Payroll and HR Coordinator role is to support Corin’s overall French payroll process relating to all administrative tasks, to ensure accurate and timely payment to our employees. This role will also support daily HR activities and work closely with the HR Business Partner – Europe and Head of HR Operations and Payroll.

The key responsibilities of the Payroll and HR Coordinator:

  • Maintain payroll processes as well as develop systems to process payroll transactions with a focus on the French market.
  • Ensure data accuracy and legal compliance across payroll systems, providers, and internal processes.
  • Prepare employees’ salary information by the end of each month using payroll software.
  • Maintain HR/employee files, running periodic audits and ensure the accuracy of the employee data in the HRIS system – Dayforce.
  • Address issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and Managers.
  • Process payroll changes and updates including, but not limited to: hours worked, additional earnings, tax deductions, holidays, employee benefits, new hire details, salary updates and termination information.
  • Manage payroll and benefits inbox.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
  • Submit and reconcile payroll reports.
  • Assist and resolve department and individual employee queries relating to payroll, benefits, and general HR questions in a timely and efficient way.
  • Participate in audits and provide the required documentation.
  • Work in partnership with HR, finance, and other departments.
  • Process purchase orders for the HR department on a timely basis.
  • Support Human Resources and Payroll in other day-to-day functions.
  • Process and coordinate benefit administration for new hires, terminations and QLEs.
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as needed.

The ideal Payroll and HR Coordinator - France will have/be:

  • Fluent French and English communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • 2+ years of experience and strong expertise in French payroll processes and legislation.
  • Looking to or working towards their CIPP.
  • Highly customer-focused approach, with demonstrable problem-solving, time management, and organisational skills - Completer Finisher.
  • An understanding of the importance of confidentiality.
  • Experience of working in a confidential environment.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal across all levels.
  • The ability to work effectively with employees and stakeholders, and a team player.
  • Strong focus, with the flexibility and adaptability to respond effectively to changing priorities and work requirements.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A problem-solver with a solution-based approach.
  • A strong work ethic, and be flexible, adaptable, and reliable.
  • Experience with databases and accurate updating of them.
  • A strong knowledge and experience with office-based systems including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
