We’re looking for an experienced NPI Project Manager to work within the R&D Implants Team to lead and deliver innovative medical device development projects. You’ll manage cross‑functional teams, plan and execute project stages, and ensure high‑quality products are delivered on time and within budget.

What you'll do:

  • Define project scope and deliverables with customers.
  • Create and manage detailed project plans and resources.
  • Coordinate design reviews and cross‑functional activities.
  • Identify risks and drive effective solutions.
  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project(s) through project teams.
  • Manage Stage‑Gate processes across R&D, Marketing, Finance, Manufacturing, and Regulatory.
  • Track progress, report updates, and ensure compliance with ISO 13485, GMP, and FDA 21 CFR 820.
  • Ensure product quality and successful project delivery.

About You:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Product Design, or similar.
  • Proven project management experience with successful delivery record – APM or Prince desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of orthopaedic or medical device engineering.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Skilled in project planning tools with high attention to detail.
  • Identify and analyse problems.
  • Think creatively and critically.
  • Confident creating technical reports and presentations.
  • Flexibility is key for this role.
