We’re looking for an IT Support Assistant to join our friendly IT team at our Cirencester Head Office on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their IT career or looking to move into an IT support role.
The Role
- You’ll provide 1st line IT support to Corin employees, acting as the first point of contact for day-to-day IT queries.
- Your main focus will be supporting internal users, setting up IT equipment and helping keep systems running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1st line IT support to internal users via the service desk.
- Set up laptops, monitors, peripherals, and system access for new starters.
- Log and track IT issues accurately, escalating where required.
- Assist with basic hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Support user account setup and access requests.
- Help maintain basic IT documentation and user guides.
- Work closely with the wider IT team to resolve issues.
About You
You don’t need extensive IT experience - some IT knowledge and a willingness to learn are key. Ideally, you will have:
- A genuine interest in IT and technology.
- Basic knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office.
- Confidence using computers and resolving simple issues.
- Good attention to detail and a logical approach to problem-solving.
- Strong communication skills and a helpful, customer-focused attitude.
- An IT qualification or apprenticeship (desirable but not essential).
