Corin is seeking a Calibration Engineer to ensure that all calibration equipment is correctly maintained, used, and repaired in line with company procedures. This role is critical in supporting Corin’s Quality Management System and ensuring ongoing compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).

You’ll be responsible for the calibration lifecycle of measuring equipment across the business, supporting users, managing schedules, maintaining system records, and liaising with suppliers where required.

Location: Cirencester (Mon-Fri, rotating early and late shifts)

What you’ll do:

  • Carry out calibration of equipment in accordance with Corin’s Quality Management System and Good Manufacturing Practice.
  • Ensure calibration equipment users are adequately trained, calibration schedules are monitored, and equipment status is clearly maintained.
  • Repair, or arrange the repair of, faulty or suspect measuring equipment.
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding repairs and the procurement of new calibration equipment.
  • Record and maintain calibration results within the Q-Pulse system.
  • Assess conformity of equipment against both internal and external requirements and take appropriate action where non‑conformities are identified, in line with documented procedures.
  • Process orders through the SAGE system.

About you:

  • Previous experience across all aspects of calibration.
  • The ability to interpret engineering drawings and identify calibration requirements.
  • Experience using database applications, with the ability to enter, manipulate, and report on data.
  • Sound judgement when assessing equipment acceptance and conformity.
  • Experience working within a fast‑moving manufacturing environment.
  • An engineering qualification (advantageous but not essential).
