Are you an experienced recruitment professional looking for the opportunity to work with a global organisation? Then we could have the perfect opportunity! Due to an exciting period of growth, we are looking to expand our internal recruitment team and hire a Recruitment Specialist with a strong background in recruiting within R&D. The role offers a hybrid working model (after training and probation): 3 days onsite at our global headquarters in Cirencester and 2 days from home.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end‑to‑end recruitment process to deliver a streamlined and high‑quality process for all current vacancies.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role responsibilities and person specification, and write attractive job adverts for all available platforms.
- Effectively source suitable candidates, ensuring roles are posted on relevant platforms to attract active candidates in the market.
- Screen candidates, assess suitability, and provide high‑quality shortlists to hiring managers.
- Collaborate with the Recruitment and Onboarding Administrator to schedule interviews or assessment days in a timely manner.
- Obtain feedback from both parties following interviews, ensuring accurate communication for a positive candidate experience.
- Support successful candidates through the offer process, then hand over to the Recruitment and Onboarding Administrator for onboarding.
- Maintain strong communication of recruitment activity and challenges with the Recruitment Business Partner, supporting resource‑planning conversations with the Senior Leadership Team.
- Collaborate with the Recruitment Business Partner on Employer‑Brand activities, such as community initiatives, school and college events, and social‑media promotion.
- Accurately maintain recruitment data within the ATS (Dayforce).
Skills and Experience
- Experience as a Recruitment Consultant/Recruitment Specialist within a recruitment agency or internal talent acquisition team, managing the end‑to‑end process with a strong focus on candidate experience.
- Previous experience hiring within Research and Development (R&D), ideally on a global scale.
- Ethical, consultative, and transparent recruitment approach; adherence to best practice.
- Ability to handle multiple vacancies simultaneously in a changing and growing business.
- Strong understanding of confidentiality requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels.
- Team player with the ability to work effectively with employees and stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Problem‑solving with a proactive, solution‑based approach.
- Strong work ethic; flexible, adaptable, and reliable.
- Experience with recruitment databases and accurate updating of them.
- Proficiency with office‑based systems including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
