Across 7 units in Love Lane, we manufacture knee and hip implants that are then shipped around the world to provide patients the best possible outcomes. Due to the exciting growth of Corin, we are now looking to expand our Quality Inspection team to continue to deliver the quantity of products required to meet worldwide demand. We are therefore looking for Quality Assistants and Inspectors to join us, where we design, engineer, make, inspect and distribute globally.
We are looking for Quality Assistants and Inspectors who will read technical drawings (full training will be provided) and have the ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail. We are looking for progressive learners with the ability to work well under pressure. If you are applying for the Assistant role, no previous experience is required as you will be guided by a dedicated trainer and supported day-to-day by our Senior Inspector.
Shift: Weekday nights - £24,900.00 base pay + 33% shift allowance - total salary: £33,117.00
Monday to Thursday: 22:00pm - 05:45am
Friday: 16:00pm - 20:50pm
On top of your salary, enjoy a performance-based bonus of up to £150 per month (paid quarterly up to £450), rewarding strong output, excellent attendance and right-first-time results.
The ideal Quality Assistant/Inspector will have:
- An excellent level of attention to detail.
- A minimal education background of GCSE level or equivalent in Maths and English.
- Previous work experience in either a manufacturing, automotive, aerospace or highly regulated environment would be desirable, but not essential.
- An eagerness and willingness to learn new tasks that involve general inspection, measurement, and associated activities (e.g. reading engineering drawings).
- A detail-orientated approach and the ability to make informed decisions based on the quality of the product.
- To be reliable and committed to developing a career at Corin.
