Due to continued growth, we are expanding our Manufacturing team and are looking for Manufacturing CNC Machinists to help meet increasing global demand. You will work hands-on in a high-quality manufacturing environment, producing safety-critical orthopaedic components to exacting standards.

As a Manufacturing CNC Machinist you will:
- Set up and operate CNC machines across multiple processes
- Carry out in-process quality checks to ensure right-first-time production
- Follow all health & safety procedures and maintain a safe, organised workspace
- Identify and report faults, risks, and non-conforming parts
- Work to production schedules to meet delivery targets
- Maintain accurate documentation in line with SOPs
- Support and guide team members where needed
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Monitor tooling, consumables and equipment performance
- Promote lean principles and efficient ways of working
What we're looking for:
- CNC Machinist with experience setting and operating CNC machines in a similar environment
- Good standard of secondary education, ideally including GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
- Accountable, quick to learn, approachable and a strong team player
- Able to read and interpret technical and engineering drawings
- Keen interest in new technologies, machinery and learn manufacturing concepts
- Willingness to learn and follow company procedures (SOPs, WIs, STMs)
- Committed to following Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) in daily work
Shift Pattern: Double Days (a rotating earlies and lates shift pattern) OR nights
Early Shifts
- Monday-Thursday: 5:30am - 2:00pm
- Friday: 5:30am - 11:00am (early finish!)
Late Shifts
- Monday-Thursday: 1:45pm - 10:15pm
- Friday: 10:45am - 4:15pm (early finish!)
Your base salary will be £24,900 plus a 20% shift allowance, taking your total salary to £29,880 per year.
OR
Weekday Nights
- Monday to Thursday: 22:00pm - 05:45am
- Friday: 16:00pm - 20:50pm (early finish!)
Your base salary will be £24,900 plus a 33% shift allowance, taking your total salary to £33,117.00 per year.
On top of your salary, enjoy a performance-based bonus of up to £150 per month (paid quarterly up to £450), rewarding strong output, excellent attendance and right-first-time results.
For those looking to boost their earnings further, overtime opportunities may be available:
- 1.5x hourly rate for up to 7.5 hours per week
- 2x hourly rate for any hours above this
If you are open to permanent weekend work, we expect weekend shifts to be introduced later in 2026 (these will be 12 hour shifts across Friday, Saturday and Sunday).
