We’re launching an exciting new shift and are looking for an inspiring Manufacturing Shift Manager to lead our team, foster a positive culture, and deliver outstanding operational results.
Enjoy a fantastic work-life balance. This is a weekend-only role, giving you Monday to Thursday completely free every week. In this role, you'll lead a manufacturing team to deliver production targets safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. You'll oversee day-to-day operations, resource planning, people management, training, performance and continuous improvement activities, while fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.

The ideal Manufacturing Shift Manager will have/be:
- Demonstrable experience as a strong, engaging, and driven people manager within a manufacturing or engineering business, with responsibility for managing between 15–25 operatives.
- Strong communication, delegation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- An engineering qualification or a technical understanding of how CNC machines operate and the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings; however, you will not be expected to operate CNC machinery.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with engineering, quality, planning, and supply chain teams.
- Positive, collaborative, organised, and proactive ‘can-do’ attitude to work.
- Have completed, or be working towards, a leadership qualification such as ILM Level 5.
You'll undertake an initial Monday - Friday training period, with flexibility around the training pattern to suit your needs.
