We are looking for two Demand Analyststo join our Integrated Business Planning (IBP) team, supporting either our European or Australian region. These roles are pivotal in ensuring accurate demand forecasts, enabling informed business decisions and supporting sustainable growth across international markets.
You'll be the key link between Planning and Sales, building trusted relationships with commercial stakeholders, understanding market dynamics and creating robust forecasts that balance customer demand with operational capability. We're seeking adaptable individuals who are comfortable working in a fast-moving environment and confident challenging assumptions to improve forecast quality and business performance.
This is a full-time position, Monday to Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm and 8:30am-4:00pm on Friday! Following successful completion of the initial training and 3-month probationary period, the role will move to a hybrid model with the option to work 2 days a week from home and 3 days on-site.
As a Demand Analyst, you will;
- Own the demand planning and forecasting process for your assigned region
- Partner with regional Sales teams to understand market activity, customer demand and growth opportunities
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and facilitate constructive forecasting discussions
- Review, challenge and refine forecasts to improve accuracy and identify potential risks or opportunities
- Analyse market trends, product performance and business data to support planning decisions
- Maintain regional planning data, ensuring accuracy and consistency within forecasting tools and reports
- Develop business cases to support inventory and instrument investment decisions
- Present forecasting performance and key planning metrics during monthly review meetings
- Monitor forecast accuracy and implement actions to improve planning effectiveness
- Support product launches, product transitions and other business initiatives impacting demand
- Collaborate with global and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across planning activities
- Contribute to process improvements that enhance forecasting reliability and business insight
As a Demand Analyst, you will have/be;
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in Demand planning/analysing, forecasting, Supply Chain planning, Sales & Operations planning (S&OP) or a related role
- Experience working closely with commercial teams and supporting market-led forecasting activities
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at different levels
- Confidence to challenge forecast assumptions and drive data-based conversations
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, risks and opportunities from complex data
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using forecasting or planning systems
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A proactive, resilient and solutions-focused approach
- The flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, market conditions and business requirements
- Experience within manufacturing, medical devices, healthcare, pharmaceuticals or another regulated industry would be advantageous
Salary
Competitive salary of £40,000.00 - £45,000.00, dependent on experience.
