As the industry’s only global professional services partnership, we combine the personal service and objectivity of a boutique with the scale and resources of a global institution. Our partnership model fosters collaboration over competition, bringing together the collective expertise of Corient to each relationship to deliver a transparent, client-first experience. As a fully integrated global firm, we deliver comprehensive solutions across investment management, wealth strategy and family office services to help clients simplify their lives, manage their wealth and establish lasting legacies.

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated, numerate and professionally developing individual to join Corient Dealing & Treasury Services (CDTS) as a Middle Office Analyst. This role is suited to someone who has already gained relevant professional experience and is looking to take greater ownership across cash management, client accounting, reconciliations and platform operations.

The role will have exposure to all areas of a fast-growing Investment Business. The successful candidate will be a hands-on, dynamic and highly proactive team player who can contribute from day one, take ownership of core processes as their knowledge develops, and bring ideas for improving the way the team operates.

Working directly with the Middle Office & Cash Manager, you will support and increasingly take ownership of the day-to-day processes that keep our investment platform running smoothly. We are looking for someone with strong attention to detail, good Excel skills, sound professional judgement and the confidence to investigate issues, propose solutions and contribute across a variety of tasks from day one.

Key Responsibilities:

Cash & Interest

  • Monitor client cash balances across multiple partner banks and currencies, escalating or investigating exceptions as appropriate.
  • Track fixed-term deposit placements and maturities and support the effective management of associated cash flows.
  • Perform and review interest allocation calculations and maintain client fee schedules.

Client Accounting & Reconciliations

  • Reconcile client positions and cash between systems and sub-custodians.
  • Investigate reconciliation breaks, resolve routine issues independently and maintain accurate internal ledgers.
  • Support monthly reporting and finance processes, taking ownership of assigned controls and deliverables.

Revenue & Fee Queries

  • Perform custody fee checks, investigate interest queries and support client revenue reporting.
  • Provide accurate analysis and data to support internal profitability reviews and client compensation calculations.

Process Improvement and Documentation

  • Maintain procedures and process notes for core Middle Office functions.
  • Document and perform control checks, supporting audit and regulatory readiness.
  • Identify practical opportunities to improve processes, controls and efficiency, and contribute ideas for implementation.

Team & Project Support

  • Provide analytical and operational support to wider initiatives, including system and platform change.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across Client Operations, Dealing, and Finance, taking ownership of assigned actions and deliverables.
  • Relevant professional qualification in treasury or accountancy, either completed or close to completion (for example ACT, ACCA, AMCT, etc).
  • Relevant professional experience in financial services, treasury, accounting, investment operations or a comparable analytical environment.
  • A self-starter with a proactive mindset, high attention to detail and the confidence to take ownership.
  • Strong Excel skills, including formulas, Pivot Tables and data accuracy checks.
  • Strong systems aptitude, with the ability to learn new platforms quickly and use technology effectively to support operational processes, controls, and analysis
  • Highly numerate and comfortable analysing and working with financial data.
  • Able to investigate issues, form a view and propose practical solutions rather than relying solely on detailed instruction.
  • Confident communicator and collaborative team player.
  • Experience of cash management, client accounting, reconciliations, custody operations or investment platforms.
  • Experience working with operational controls, financial reporting or process documentation.
  • An interest in developing broader knowledge across investment operations and contributing to continuous improvement.
