Corgi Insurance is hiring a Finance Associate in London. Entry-level seat with teeth.

About Corgi: AI-powered insurance company built for tech startups. $108M raised. Regulatory approval as a licensed carrier. Now expanding into UK and EU and scaling our London office.

The role: Not a rubber-stamp finance seat. We want someone who treats expense processing, vendor scrutiny, and bookkeeping as a starting point, not a job description.

Day to day:

  • Expense reimbursement processing.
  • Scrutinise vendors, expenses, processes — not waste company money is the actual standard.
  • Bookkeeping is the floor; we expect pattern-flagging, not just recording.
  • Close work, ad-hoc finance research, direct vendor calls.
  • Push back on vendors when needed.
  • Pick up the phone.

What we want:

  • Low ego.
  • Trustworthy.
  • Sharp on numbers.
  • Hungry.
  • Comfortable with public-first communication — no DM kingdoms.

How we work: Decisions today beat perfect answers next week. Intensity goes up during pushes. Bring solutions with problems. Internal competition is a feature.

If "we move fast and grind hard" energises you, send your CV to sergio@corgi.com.

Insurance is not a slow industry because it has to be. It is slow because most teams accept it. We do not.

London-based. On‑site or hybrid.

Compensation: £40,000–£60,000 base + equity. Wide band on purpose. We pay for teeth, not titles.
