About the role

Corgi is growing fast and important work needs an owner. You'll run a wide range of projects – scaling ops, rolling out systems, fixing what's broken, expanding our office – and decide what good looks like. Clear path to a larger operating, product, or strategy role as you prove yourself.

What you'll do

  • Take on a broad range of projects – operational, strategic, logistical, and everything in between – and run them end-to-end.
  • Triage and execute the constant stream of requests landing on the Head of Ops.
  • Build the operational infrastructure that lets us scale headcount without breaking.
  • Spot the things that are broken or missing, then fix them before anyone asks.
  • Context-switch constantly and operate with discretion across everything you touch.

What we're looking for

  • A track record of building things, side projects, or anything that shows you make stuff happen outside of a job description.
  • You move fast and get things done. You don't wait to be told what to do, and you don't need things to be perfect before you ship.
  • You're comfortable with the unglamorous work. Chasing vendors, fixing logistics, sitting on hold with HMRC – none of it is beneath you.
  • You communicate clearly and concisely, in writing and in person.
  • You think structurally. You can take a messy problem and turn it into a plan.
  • Low ego, high agency. You care more about the outcome than the credit.

Bonus points

  • Prior experience at an early-stage startup.
  • Background in a high-intensity environment (consulting, banking, startup, sport, the military – anywhere that taught you to operate under pressure).
  • You use AI to 10x your output. You've already figured out how to make Claude, ChatGPT, and the rest of the toolkit do the work of five people.

How we work

We work hard. 7 days a week, in-office, intense. We're rebuilding a $1T industry and we don't think that happens on a 9-to-5. We're also having fun. The team is sharp, ambitious, and genuinely enjoys the work. If '7 days a week' sounds exhausting rather than energising, this isn't the role for you – and that's fine. If it sounds like exactly what you've been looking for, send in an application.
