Position

Corgan is actively recruiting a dynamic Project Leader, Interior Design to join our Workplace Interiors studio in London. You will work alongside a team of creative, motivated individuals passionate about their work and collaboration. Our ideal candidate is passionate and eager to take on more responsibilities to expand their expertise.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop competitive fee structures reflecting scope of services for project pursuits
  2. Establish and manage project schedules
  3. Oversee project completion on time and within budget
  4. Manage client expectations effectively
  5. Provide leadership by defining roles, leveraging strengths, mentoring staff
  6. Lead design and technical ideation discussions
  7. Motivate teams to meet project goals
  8. Oversee material, furnishings, fixtures, and equipment selection
  9. Manage construction phase documentation and procedures
  10. Develop and present technical solutions to stakeholders
  11. Coordinate internal and external project teams
  12. Conduct and attend presentations
  13. Identify new business opportunities
  14. Encourage innovation and continuous improvement
  15. Develop project directives, schedules, and strategies
  16. Manage project documentation and quality assurance
  17. Resolve technical challenges and ensure compliance with standards and codes

Qualifications

  1. Degree in Interior Design or Architecture
  2. 10+ years in commercial design, with at least 5 in workplace interiors
  3. Strong design portfolio demonstrating conceptual, space planning, and detailing skills
  4. Experience managing design teams and developing design schemes
  5. High commitment to QA/QC
  6. Proficiency in Revit and technical excellence
  7. Understanding of construction and documentation processes
  8. Knowledge of codes and ability to research/document them
  9. Experience managing consultants and contractors
  10. Interest in sustainable design
  11. Excellent organizational and communication skills
  12. Attention to detail and flexible attitude
  13. Ability to manage project fees and schedules
  14. Proven client and team relationship management skills
  15. Successful business development experience
  16. Confident presentation skills
  17. Potential for travel opportunities
