About the Role

Senior Manager, Specialist Field Engineering – leading a regional team of experts across Kubernetes, HPC, networking, security, storage, and compute infrastructure.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and grow a high‑performing solutions architecture team, define the regional go‑to‑market strategy, act as executive sponsor for strategic customers, partner with customers to translate requirements into production solutions, align capacity management with AI workloads, establish KPIs and workflows, and drive continuous improvement through field feedback.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, coach, and lead a high‑performing Solutions Architecture team.
  • Define and execute the regional technical go‑to‑market strategy.
  • Act as executive sponsor for strategic customers, guiding them from concept to production.
  • Partner with customers to understand complex AI and infrastructure requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
  • Align capacity management, data center operations, and fleet operations to support AI workloads.
  • Establish KPIs, streamline workflows, and coordinate with Support to ensure measurable outcomes and exceptional customer experience.
  • Drive continuous improvement by incorporating field feedback into product enhancements and operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years in solutions architecture, infrastructure engineering, or cloud services, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record designing, deploying, and optimizing large‑scale cloud-native environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, networking technologies, security practices, and enterprise storage systems.
  • Experience with GPU‑based computing and distributed workloads.
  • Expertise in infrastructure frameworks, workload orchestration, performance tuning, and distributed systems.
  • Exceptional leadership skills to inspire and develop high‑performing teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to collaborate cross‑functionally in a hyper‑growth environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%.
