2-3 days per week in office
Central London-based international advisory and accounting firm is seeking an experienced US Tax professional to establish and lead a new US Tax department within its London office.
This is a senior appointment, albeit an individual contributor role, offering the opportunity to build and develop the firm's UK-based US tax capability whilst supporting a growing international client base.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of the firm's US Tax offering from the London office.
- Manage the preparation and review of US tax returns.
- Provide technical guidance on US personal and related tax matters.
- Build relationships with clients requiring US tax support.
- Work closely with the wider UK and US teams to deliver a seamless service.
- Support the growth and development of the department.
Requirements
- Qualified US Tax professional.
- Ideally Enrolled Agent (EA) qualified.
- Strong experience preparing US tax returns.
- Ability to lead a department and act as the senior technical contact.
- Experience working with US taxpayers and cross-border tax matters would be advantageous.
