About the role
We are recruiting on behalf of a precision sheet metal fabrication business in Banbury.
They produce bespoke components to tight tolerances across a wide range of live projects, and they need an experienced press brake setter/operator to keep quality and output high on a busy shop floor.
What you'll do
- Programme, set and adjust a CNC down stroke press brake, ideally Amada, to produce accurate formed components
- Press, inspect and tolerance check standard and bespoke parts
- Read and interpret manufacturing drawings
- Support general manufacturing activities when needed
What you'll bring
- Proven experience setting and operating a press brake
- Confident and competent working on Amada down stroke press brakes, or a comparable CNC down stroke machine
- Ability to read manufacturing drawings
- A quality focused, right first time approach to your work
- Own transport
- Fabrication industry background is a strong advantage
