Are you an electrically-biased Maintenance Engineer with strong PLC fault-finding skills, looking to join a manufacturing site that's expanding its engineering team? This is a new opportunity to join the engineering function of an established manufacturing business based near Buckingham / Tingewick. The site is growing its maintenance capability and adding a second Maintenance Engineer to work alongside the existing team, giving the function a proper mechanical and electrical balance. What you'll do: Work alongside the site's existing Maintenance Engineer, who is mechanically biased, to balance out the team's skill set Lead on electrical fault-finding, control systems and PLC work across site machinery Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment Support machine programming, controls and electrical issues site-wide Work on motors, pneumatics, hydraulics and associated equipment where needed Liaise with contractors and internal teams, and keep accurate maintenance records Promote safe working practices across the site Complete maintenance records and reports accurately What you'll bring: Strong electrical fault-finding background, ideally with PLC experience (Siemens or Mitsubishi) Comfortable working alongside a mechanically-focused colleague, complementing rather than duplicating that skill set Industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience Sound understanding of 3-phase electrics and electrical troubleshooting Right to work in the UK without sponsorship A driving licence would be beneficial due to the site location What's on offer: Β£45,000 per annum Bonus of up to 10% depending on individual and company performance 33 days holiday per annum 40 hours per week Flexible daytime hours, typically 7.30am to 4.00pm, with slight adjustments possible by agreement Full-time, permanent role Opportunity to join a growing engineering team and shape how the function runs How to apply: Apply today with your CV and we'll be in touch to discuss the role in more detail.
