The Opportunity
As the HRIS Systems Data & Reporting Lead, you will be responsible for leading the strategy, governance, optimisation and day-to-day management of the organisation's HR technology landscape. Working closely with People, Technology, Payroll and business stakeholders, you will ensure people systems deliver an excellent user experience, high-quality data and actionable insights to support business decisions.
The Role
- Own and deliver the HR systems strategy, roadmap and ongoing optimisation across the employee lifecycle.
- Lead the administration, configuration and continuous improvement of the Workday platform, ensuring best practice utilisation across key modules.
- Manage and optimise Workday HCM, Recruitment, Advanced Compensation, Learning and Payroll, ensuring seamless integration across the wider HR technology ecosystem.
- Ensure people data, payroll integrations and system processes are accurate, secure, compliant and aligned with business requirements.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives that improve manager and employee self-service and simplify HR processes.
- Lead system upgrades, releases, testing and change management activities, ensuring successful adoption across the organisation.
- Develop and deliver people reporting, dashboards and workforce analytics to provide meaningful business insight.
- Manage third-party suppliers and system partners, ensuring effective governance, service delivery and value for money.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation, process improvement and enhanced user experience.
- Provide leadership and guidance to HR systems teams and act as the subject matter expert for HR technology.
About You
You'll be an experienced Workday Systems professional with a strong background in leading enterprise HR technology platforms within complex, multi-site organisations.
- Significant experience leading HRIS or People Systems functions.
- Hands-on experience administering and optimising Workday, including: HCM, Recruitment, Advanced Compensation, Learning & Payroll.
- Strong understanding of HR system integrations, payroll interfaces and data management.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale HR systems implementations, enhancements or transformation programmes.
- Experience managing system releases, testing, governance and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills with experience producing people reporting, dashboards and workforce insights.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders across HR, Technology, Finance and Operations.
- A collaborative, customer-focused approach with a passion for improving employee experience through technology.
- Knowledge of data governance, GDPR and information security best practices within HR systems.
