Overview

Planner required for a new role in the Washington area. This is full-time, office based and permanent.

The Role

As a Planner, you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of a specific programme of works. You’ll be responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimising schedules to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and in line with client expectations.

This role requires strong coordination, communication, and analytical skills, as you will collaborate with multiple departments, clients, and field teams to ensure that resources, timeframes, and deliverables are aligned from planning through to execution.

The Person

Applicants must have strong planning, scheduling, and organisational skills. They must also be proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and Microsoft Project. Along with this, they will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate across departments; attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to deadlines; experience in a customer-facing or client service environment; the ability to self-motivate and work independently as well as part of a team.

Remuneration

£35,000 to £42,000 per annum

The salary is £35,000 to £42,000 depending upon experience.
