Role: This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced site agent or project manager to move away from the people management and health and safety headaches of a daily site based role. The position entails bringing technical expertise and construction know-how to the front end of the process; work winning. By contributing to the strategy for project delivery and creation of tender programmes, this is a key role in the essential preconstruction function of the business. The incumbent will work closely with the Bid Manager. This is a hybrid role with a mix of office and home based working, flexibility of hours, and a 40 hour working week.
Experience Required: Applicants must demonstrate a proven background within a technical role, managing civil and civil structural engineering projects on site, with a commercial appreciation of the position and agenda of a main contractor organisation. Previous experience of interacting with P6 or Microsoft Project software (likely through amendment/updating of site programmes) is required. Training to further develop these skills will be provided.
Remuneration: Circa £55,000 to £65,000 dependent on experience. The position includes a competitive car allowance, private health and pension schemes, generous holidays and other financial benefits.
