The Construction Planner is involved with creation of the plan from constructability to programme objectives in line with health and safety, project deadlines and commercial viability. This role is positioned within a strong Planning team and therefore, support is on hand, however, the Planner is expected to work somewhat autonomously as part of the wider project teams, interacting closely with the Project Director/Manager, Design Manager and Quantity Surveyor.

Site presence is imperative and therefore, applicants must be accessible to, and familiar with, the Cumbrian geographical patch. This is a great opportunity for a Planner who is ready to relocate.

Experience Required

  • A main contractor building background is imperative, with ideally more than five years as a Planner and longer within the construction industry as a whole.
  • A full, clean driving licence is critical.

Remuneration

Competitive remuneration package which comprises generous base salary and car allowance, enhanced pension and health schemes, as well as other company perks and benefits.
