We are partnering with a founder led, award winning grab and go business looking for their first Coffee Lead. This would be an exciting opportunity for a strong Head Barista to step up in a more development and training focussed role. You would take ownership of menu development, training, and quality standards across the estate, combining creativity with real operational impact.

The Role

  • You will initially lead the development and launch of a seasonal cold drinks menu, before transitioning into a hands-on training and quality role across multiple locations.
  • This position is focused on maintaining exceptional standards, developing store teams, and ensuring consistent execution of both hot and cold beverages.
  • Outside of menu development periods, you will work regular shifts alongside store teams, leading by example in busy service environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and launch seasonal cold drink menus, with a strong focus on iced coffee, matcha, and trend-led beverages
  • Collaborate with the operations team to source new ingredients and products that support innovation
  • Deliver structured barista training programmes across multiple locations
  • Provide hands-on coaching and day-to-day support to store teams
  • Conduct regular quality audits and proactively address performance gaps
  • Oversee coffee machine setup, calibration, and grind consistency standards
  • Support busy services by working side-by-side with teams to deliver excellent coffee and customer experience
  • Ensure smooth rollout and consistent execution of menu updates across all sites

About You

  • Strong background within the specialty coffee industry
  • Head Barista level (or equivalent) with proven training and development experience
  • Creative in drink development, with strong commercial awareness
  • Excellent technical coffee skills and high attention to detail
  • Able to quickly identify and resolve quality or operational issues
  • Patient, confident communicator with a practical, hands-on coaching style
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently across multiple locations
