About the Role

A rapidly growing multi-site food business is seeking an experienced Production Manager to take full ownership of its central kitchen operations and help drive the next phase of expansion.

This pivotal position will see you leading a talented team of chefs in a high-volume production environment, ensuring exceptional quality, consistency, and compliance at every stage. With exciting growth plans ahead — including BRC accreditation, new food line development, and future franchising — this is an outstanding opportunity for a dynamic, hands-on production leader to make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of central kitchen production, including in-house butchery, prep, and logistics
  • Drive food safety, hygiene, and BRC compliance to meet the highest industry standards
  • Lead and develop a diverse team of chefs, ensuring consistent delivery and operational excellence
  • Manage stock control, procurement, and production planning through centralised systems
  • Analyse, streamline, and optimise processes to support scale and efficiency
  • Support the introduction and rollout of new food lines across the business
  • Maintain a hands-on leadership style, providing technical support and training where needed

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience as a Production Manager, Head of Production, or Senior Chef in a multi-site or high-volume food business
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, BRC compliance, and operational systems
  • A natural leader with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage and inspire multicultural teams
  • Analytical and process-driven, with a growth mindset and a focus on continuous improvement
  • Chef background essential; experience with Indian or world cuisine beneficial but not required
  • Flexible and adaptable to meet production demands across varied shifts
