On behalf of an ambitious, independent coffee brand, we’re looking for an energetic, on-the-ground Area Manager to join their growing team in Edinburgh. This is not your average chain. With soon to be 10 thriving coffee shops and more on the way, they’re on a mission to deliver great coffee, community vibes, and exceptional customer experiences, and they need a strong leader to help take them to the next level.

The Role

This is a field-based position where you'll be in the stores, leading teams, and making things happen. No office-bound management here, this role is for someone who thrives in the hustle and energy of busy cafés and knows how to drive results through people.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operations of all the cafes daily
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of 40+ staff
  • Take full ownership of site-level performance and P&L
  • Recruit, train, and build high-performing teams
  • Work closely with the director and operations team to scale sustainably

  • Proven multi-site experience in hospitality (coffee or casual dining ideal)
  • Financially savvy – confident with budgets, targets, and performance KPIs
  • A natural leader who thrives in fast-paced, growth environments
  • Passionate about people, quality, and creating standout guest experiences
  • You love being on the floor more than behind a desk
