About the role:
A position has arisen for a part time Phlebotomy position within ENHT. The hours are for afternoons, with a 17:30 finish, and 30 hours in total. You will be based at Lister but may be required to travel to one of our other sites, therefore being a car driver is essential. Experience not essential as training will be given to the right applicant to perform venepuncture on patients in Outpatient department, in a ward setting and in GP surgeries/Health clinics. We are looking for experienced phlebotomists able to work in wards, OPD, community clinics, Domiciliary and GP surgeries. You will also be required to work Saturday and Sunday mornings on a rota.
Key duties will include:
- To be a valued member of a motivated team with a patient care focus.
- To ensure professional and technical standards are maintained within the services at all times.
- Taking blood samples from in-patients, out-patients and at GP surgeries, domiciliary and community.
- To follow department SOP’s and best practice at all times.
