The postholder will undertake independent and collaborative research activities, manage research projects, contribute to publications and funding applications, and engage with academic, clinical, community and policy stakeholders to maximise research impact.
This role supports a research programme funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) within the Maternity Disparities Consortium (MDC). The research carried out by the consortium will focus on inequalities before, during and after pregnancy. The successful candidate will work with the multi-disciplinary team of the NIHR Maternity Disparities Consortium.

Particularly, the Research Fellow will support a multi-method, multi-phased study to use appreciative inquiry for co-production of culturally appropriate interventions and equity informed perinatal mental health and psychosocial wellbeing care pathway. The Research Fellow will contribute to co-production of interventions with women, families and clinicians, and planning future evaluation of the interventions including usability and feasibility testing, data collection, implementation frameworks, and the generation of evidence to support future scale-up across the consortium.
