Grade 7 - £39,906 to £44,746 per annum (depending on experience)

This role attracts a market supplement of £7,500 per annum. This supplement is a temporary non consolidated payment and will be reviewed on an annual basis.

We are seeking a motivated individual with a proven track record in commercial leadership, business partnering and procurement expertise and experience. The role will require you to think commercially, innovatively and flexibly, in order to optimise commercial and procurement outcomes.

You will:

  • Lead strategic and complex procurement projects from development through to delivery.
  • Engage with stakeholders, suppliers, and wider markets to drive successful commercial outcomes.
  • Provide expert procurement advice in collaboration with professional and technical subject matter experts.
  • Develop procurement strategies, evaluate options, and present recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships across academic and professional services.
  • Analyse data, manage risk, and present insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Line manage and develop procurement professionals.
