We are looking for a Senior Lecturer in Construction Project Management at grade 10/11, depending on the skills and experience of the successful candidate. Situated in the heart of Oxford, this post is based in the School of the Built Environment, a lively and multidisciplinary environment with a strong tradition of excellence in teaching underpinned by world‑class research and strong industry links in the professional fields of construction, real estate, planning and urban design.

Responsibilities

  • Teaching on construction programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
  • Pursuing research and knowledge transfer activities
  • Seeking external funding for research and knowledge transfer
  • Leading programme and curriculum development
  • Leading the development of new educational initiatives

Qualifications

  • A good first degree and/or post‑graduate degree in a construction‑related discipline
  • Substantive industry or teaching experience in construction project management or related areas
  • Potential to develop and sustain externally funded research and knowledge transfer work
  • Potential or track record of publishing in high‑quality refereed journals
  • Ability to teach and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students
  • Ability to develop and lead new programmes
  • Ability to build collaborative internal and external relationships
  • Experience of successfully working as part of a multi‑professional team

Training in teaching methods is provided for those without relevant experience.
