About the role
It is an exciting and transformational time working with the Hertfordshire and West Essex NHS ICB. We have a part-time phlebotomy position available at ENHT. Primarily you will be working at HCH Hospital but may be asked to travel to other locations. We are looking for enthusiastic, hard-working individuals. Your duties will include taking blood samples from patients in an Outpatient setting and in Doctors' surgeries. You will also be required to work weekends on a rota. Experience not essential as training will be given. Car drivers essential to these roles.
Key duties
- To be a valued member of a motivated team with a patient care focus.
- To ensure professional and technical standards are maintained within the services at all times.
- Taking blood samples from patients in Outpatients and Surgeries/clinics for Lab analysis.
- To follow department SOPs and best practice at all times.
