The Radcliffe Science Library is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Wellbeing Assistant to support its successful wellbeing programme, which has been running since 2023 as part of the Bodleian Libraries Strategic Plan. Working as part of a friendly team, you will help deliver a varied programme of events that promote wellbeing across the University community.
You will welcome participants, register attendees and provide excellent customer service throughout each event. You will help prepare rooms, set up and pack away equipment, guide participants during activities such as Lego building and paper crafting, answer enquiries and help create a warm, inclusive and engaging environment. This is a paid as claimed, variable hours post.
About You
You will have experience in customer service, hospitality or event support and enjoy working with a wide range of people. You will communicate confidently, courteously and professionally with readers, colleagues and members of the public, maintaining a welcoming and positive approach at all times. You will be reliable, punctual and highly organised, with the ability to follow instructions carefully while maintaining excellent attention to detail. You will be comfortable working in a busy environment, prioritising tasks and responding calmly to changing situations, including managing queues or large groups when required.
