We are looking for a Senior Lecturer in Construction Project Management at grade 10/11, depending on the skills and experience of the successful candidate. Situated in the heart of Oxford, this post is based in the School of the Built Environment, a lively and multidisciplinary environment with a strong tradition of excellence in teaching underpinned by world‑class research and strong industry links in the professional fields of construction, real estate, planning and urban design.
Responsibilities
- Teaching on construction programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
- Pursuing research and knowledge transfer activities
- Seeking external funding for research and knowledge transfer
- Leading programme and curriculum development
- Leading the development of new educational initiatives
Qualifications
- A good first degree and/or post‑graduate degree in a construction‑related discipline
- Substantive industry or teaching experience in construction project management or related areas
- Potential to develop and sustain externally funded research and knowledge transfer work
- Potential or track record of publishing in high‑quality refereed journals
- Ability to teach and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students
- Ability to develop and lead new programmes
- Ability to build collaborative internal and external relationships
- Experience of successfully working as part of a multi‑professional team
Training in teaching methods is provided for those without relevant experience.
