We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Finance Officer to join us here at Nuffield Department of Clinical Neurosciences. The Senior Finance Officer is a crucial role within the NDCN Finance team. The post holder would be expected to take on additional responsibility, supervising less experienced staff on a day to day basis and making sure all transactions and tasks are performed correctly and in accordance with university financial controls.

In addition, you will assist the Senior Finance Manager’s with financial reporting and management; producing financial reports and analysis for key stakeholders within the department, investigating complex queries that arise and process regular complex recharges in a timely manner. With strong communication skills, a demonstrable commitment to providing excellent service to staff, colleagues and external organisations you will assist the Senior Finance Manager’s with month end tasks to ensure the department has timely, quality information with which to manage its overall financial health.
