The Ruskin School of Art is seeking to appoint a permanent part-time Print Studio Technician to start as soon as possible, and preferably not later than 1 October 2026.
The appointee will work on a variable hours basis (submitting monthly claims), but it is expected that the working pattern will be approximately 1 day per week across three terms of 10 weeks (autumn, spring, and summer). He/she will be responsible for maintaining the good working order of equipment in the Ruskin’s Print Studio at its premises on Bullingdon Road, replenishing relevant stock and materials, and ensuring appropriate health and safety procedures and protocols are drawn up, and that they are observed by users of the studio.
The Printmaking Studio Technician will possess specialist knowledge and demonstrable expertise which shows a working understanding of a range of fine art printmaking crafts and technical processes typically found in a HE print studio.
