Responsibilities
- Deliver translational projects that characterise laboratory-engineered iPSC-derived immune cells as they mature.
- Apply these cells within organoid and multi-organoid chip platforms to test and refine candidate therapies.
- Work closely with PhD students and postdoctoral researchers to deliver high-dimensional readouts including multi-parameter flow cytometry, single-cell and spatial transcriptomics, and quantitative imaging.
Qualifications
- Completion of a PhD/DPhil in a relevant life science discipline with a strong publication record.
- Broad experience in molecular and cellular biology, including standard techniques for nucleic acid and protein analysis.
- Demonstrable hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture and multi-parameter flow cytometry.
- Experience with iPSC culture, organoid or other 3D model systems, organ-on-chip or microfluidic platforms, and single-cell or spatial omics technologies is desirable.
- A background in immunology—particularly haematopoietic, myeloid, or innate immune cell biology—as well as developmental biology, especially haematopoiesis and early lymphopoiesis, would be advantageous.
