About the role
This is an exciting opportunityfor aJunior ProjectManagerto jointheChildren'sClinical Research Team, within theDepartment of Paediatrics, andworkin collaboration with the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust to bring clinical research to the bedside.The role willprovide core support toacademic clinicians,particularly developing andnurturingcross-departmentaland cross-divisionalcollaborations such as those we have with Diabetes andInflammationLaboratory in NuffieldDepartment ofMedicine and TheDepartmentof Computer Science, part of Mathematical, Physical and Life Science (MPLS) Division.
You will be working in a growing department within the Medical Sciences Division. The Department of Paediatrics is a world leader in child health research and hosts internationally renowned research programmes in drug development, gastroenterology, haematology, HIV, immunology, neuroimaging, neuromusculardiseasesand vaccinology.
This position is offered full-time on a fixed-term contract for 12months, with the possibility to extend provided further external funding is available.

About you
We are looking for a motivated individual with relevantexperience in research administration and project management. Some experience of NHS approval processeswould be an advantage.You will be highly organised, have good interpersonal skills and be able to interact productively and collaboratively with other team members. Proven experience infollowing processes and procedures, managing priorities,good communicationskillsand the ability to work as part of a team are essential.
