The Nuffield Department of Women's & Reproductive Health is looking for a Grants Officer to join our friendly Professional Services Team. You will provide support across the full life cycle of the grant, including application, pre-award administration, and post-award management. You will be a primary contact for Principal Investigators and research staff in the department for queries, working closely with colleagues in the Grants and Finance Team and across the department and University. You will develop in depth knowledge of funders to deliver a high-quality service for our researchers.

You will be educated to degree level (or have equivalent experience). You will have excellent team working and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people. A high standard of numeracy and IT proficiency will be essential for this role, and you will need to have experience managing and prioritising a varied and busy workload.

Applications for flexible working arrangements are welcomed and will be considered in line with business needs. The post is offered on a full-time basis and is fixed term for two years in the first instance. The closing date for applications is 12.00 noon on 8th June 2026. Interviews are expected to take place at the end of June.
