About the Role
This varied and rewarding role sits within the Income Office and is responsible for supporting the accurate allocation of income received into the University’s bank accounts. Working with transactions received through multiple payment methods and currencies, you will help ensure significant volumes of income are processed efficiently and correctly, enabling departments and projects across the University to access funding promptly and maintain effective operations. You will investigate and resolve complex payment queries, identify and allocate receipts where information is incomplete, and work closely with colleagues across the University as well as sponsors, customers and banking partners worldwide. The role also includes responsibility for supporting the University’s Corporate Barclaycard and Prepaid Card schemes, helping departments navigate processes while ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal controls. Success in this role will come from your ability to combine strong analytical thinking with excellent customer service. You will contribute to maintaining high standards of financial control, support continuous improvement of processes, and play an important role in ensuring the University’s income operations remain efficient, compliant and responsive to the needs of stakeholders. As this role supports ongoing strategic priorities, we are keen to appoint someone who can begin contributing within a relatively short timeframe and would welcome applications from candidates who are available to start promptly.
