An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, highly organised and numerate Finance and Grants Assistant to join the small finance and research grants teams providing financial management services to the Department of Experimental Psychology. The position is fixed term until 31 March 2028 and is full time (36.5 hours per week). The role is based within the Life and Mind Building with flexibility to work from home for up to 40% of time once established in post.

The successful candidate will be educated to at least GCSE or equivalent, with a financial qualification or significant experience in a finance role. Excellent communication and IT skills, accuracy, and attention to detail are essential requirements as well as a tactful and confidential approach. Experience of financial administration and/or working in an academic or research environment would be an advantage.
