You will be based in Oxford and work under the supervision of the Director of Clinical Research and specialist gastroenterologists. Your responsibilities include conducting proof‑of‑concept and interventional studies in gastroenterology, recruiting patients to clinical trials, ensuring seamless service delivery across NHS departments, writing research papers and abstracts, and contributing to grant applications. You will also provide clinical care to trial participants, monitor and evaluate them under supervision, and manage biological sample preparation/storage according to regulatory requirements.

About You
You must hold an undergraduate degree with honours or distinction in Medicine, be fully registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) and demonstrate sub‑specialty training in gastroenterology. You should have strong teamwork and independent working skills, excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication abilities, and experience handling sensitive information in accordance with data protection legislation. Specialist Registrar Grade or Certificate of Completion of Training is desirable.
