The Botnar Institute for Musculoskeletal Sciences, part of the Nuffield Department of Orthopaedics, Rheumatology and Musculoskeletal Sciences (NDORMS), is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic individual for the role of Clinical Quality Improvement Fellow. This is a part-time (25% FTE), fixed-term position until 30/09/2028.
In this role, you will manage your own academic research and administrative activities related to the Major Revision Knee Network. This involves small scale project management to co-ordinate multiple aspects of work to meet deadlines, as well as developing new research databases and materials relevant to improving the care of patients undergoing investigation and assessment of problematic knee replacements. You will also contribute ideas for new research projects and collaborate in the preparation of research publications.

About You:
You will hold an undergraduate degree with honours in Medicine and a full registration (and a licence to practise) with the General Medical Council (GMC). You will also hold, or be able to obtain, an honorary contract with Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Additionally, you will have a Trauma and Orthopaedic National Training Number, relevant experience, and demonstrate experience developing and delivering quality improvement projects. Research experience in revision arthroplasty and knee surgery is also required.
Interviews will take place during the week commencing 28 September 2026 and will be hybrid.
