Faculty of Medieval and Modern Languages, The Stephen A. Schwarzman Centre, Radcliffe Observatory Quarter, Woodstock Road, Oxford, OX2 6GG

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the Faculty of Medieval and Modern Languages, taking ownership of a busy and varied room booking service covering more than9,000 bookings each yearfor teaching, events and meetings.

As the successful candidate, you will be at the heart of the Faculty’s operational activity, ensuring that teaching and events are planned smoothly and effectively. You will work closely with academic colleagues and central Schwarzman teams, building strong and collaborative relationships across the University.

The role also offers the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development of the Faculty’s timetabling processes, helping to refine and streamline how we plan and manage our teaching spaces. Alongside room bookings and timetabling, you will supportevent planningand work closely with colleagues at the Faculty’s second site, theTaylor Institution.

We are looking for someone who combinesexcellent attention to detail and strong organisational skillswith the confidence, tact and communication skills needed to support colleagues through operational processes and procedures.

This role offers a flexibility of hybrid working with a mixture of on-site and remote working possible. The usual on-site presence for departmental staff is 3 days per week.
