We are seeking to appoint an Alumni and Online Scholars Manager to support AfOx’s efforts to strengthen relationships across our alumni network, enhance recruitment pathways, and expand and deliver the AfOx Online Scholars Programme. The role will lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of alumni engagement strategy as well as the online scholarship programme, applying expert knowledge to manage risks, resources, and stakeholders.
Working with a high degree of autonomy, they ensure the programme objectives are achieved to time, budget, and quality standards, navigating challenges and driving high-impact outcomes. You will be responsible for independently scoping, planning and managing the execution of alumni engagement and online scholars’ engagement to ensure delivery of key outcomes within agreed timelines and University standards.
Acting as the primary operational contact for matters relating to AfOx’s alumni and online scholars across internal and external collaborators, you will build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, third party vendors and external partners to support successful programme delivery. Further to this you will manage programme budgets, ensuring cost control, accurate tracking of expenditure, and compliance with the University financial policies and procedures.
It is essential that you are educated to degree level in a subject such as Education, International Development, African Studies, Higher Education Policy or a related discipline. It is also essential that you have proven project management experience through the full lifecycle, demonstrating experience of budget monitoring and financial management. You must have strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex data and provide actionable insights.

Salary (£) : Standard Grade 7: Salary in range £39,424 - £47,779 per annum (pro rata). This is inclusive of a pensionable Oxford University Weighting of £1,730 per year (pro rata).
