  • Job Summary

This role is a Full time, fixed term (12 months) Administrator who will sit at the intersection of Information Technology Services (ITS) and Academic and Student Administration (ASA).

Reporting to the Head of Operations, the incumbent will support these directorates by managing budgets, coordinating events, drafting minutes and ensuring operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver proactive administrative support to stakeholders and team members.
  • Assist teams in securing specialised, non-standard IT and admin equipment and maintain contact with budget holders.
  • Coordinate and deliver events, trips and ad-hoc operational projects.
  • Administer key meetings, draft concise minutes and ensure compliance with university procedures.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong experience working in an office environment, ideally with databases and office software (HE experience is a bonus but not essential).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with a wide range of stakeholders and produce clear meeting minutes.
  • A meticulous approach to work, spotting details and maintaining precise documentation.
  • Collaboration skills with the ability to work independently and take initiative.

Hybrid working model with primary base at the Headington Campus.
