Downstream DBS Check Requirement

Due to the nature of work that Sonic Healthcare UK undertakes, our clients require that Employees filling certain roles need, as part of their on-boarding to complete a DBS Check. This role falls into the category of requiring a DBS check (standard).

About the Role

An opportunity has arisen for a Motorcycle Courier to join the Courier team at our Central London location. The successful applicant will be expected to travel to various locations within the UK. The role involves:

  • Collecting samples from clients and their safe and efficient delivery to the company premises
  • Delivery of reports, supplies and other goods to clients
  • Carrying out duties in line with the ‘Courier Procedures Manual’
  • Ensuring that communication procedures are operational during duties

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience of working within the courier or healthcare field
  • At least 5 years driving experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team

Please be aware that this role will involve dealing with Blood Transfusion and Major Haemorrhage situations. Driving will take up a large part of your working day. Must have full Manual driving licence.
