An opportunity has arisen for a Motorbike Courier to join the Courier team at our Central London location. Although the role is based in our main laboratory at 1 Mabledon Place, the successful applicant will be expected to travel to various locations within the UK. The role involves collecting samples from clients and their safe and efficient delivery to the company premises, as well as the delivery of reports, supplies and other goods to clients. The position will also involve carrying out duties in line with the 'Courier Procedures Manual’ and to ensure that communication procedures are operational during duties.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver biological and other samples, reports, supplies and goods to clients and company premises.
  • Follow Courier Procedures Manual and maintain communication procedures.
  • Work independently and as part of a team.
  • Be prepared to handle Blood Transfusion and Major Hemorrhage situations.
  • Work weekends and bank holidays as required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years driving experience and full, clean driving licence.
  • Experience in courier or healthcare field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • DBS check (standard) required.
