This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join our amazing, friendly and supportive yard team at our state-of-the-art referral Equine hospital.
The key role of the Equine yard technician involves management of hospitalised horses in the Philip Leverhulme Equine Hospital, including mucking out, feeding, watering and grooming. Maintaining the stables and yard to a high standard, following our cleaning protocols.
You should have demonstrable relevant experience of Equine handling and a BHSQ level 2 (stage 2).
Other activities include handling horses, movement of horses, leading, lunging and riding horses during clinical investigations. Yard technicians also assist the nurses during investigations such as MRI and Gamma.
