Join the University of Liverpool's Institute of Systems, Molecular and Integrative Biology (ISMIB) and help shape the next generation of scientists through the delivery of high-quality undergraduate practical teaching across the School of Biosciences and the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences.

Based within our teaching laboratories, you will support the preparation and delivery of practical classes, maintain laboratory facilities and equipment, and act as a demonstrator during teaching sessions, providing technical guidance and practical support to students. You will also contribute to outreach activities, summer schools, open days, and residential field courses in the UK and overseas.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, organised and proactive individual with practical experience in biochemical and molecular biology laboratory techniques, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering a high-quality technical service within a busy higher education environment.

In return, we offer a competitive salary, optional membership of the University of Liverpool Pension Fund (ULPF), 26 days' annual leave plus public holidays and University closure days, and access to a wide range of training and professional development opportunities.

This is a laboratory-based role requiring regular on-campus attendance. Occasional evening, weekend and field course support will be required, with time off in lieu provided where applicable.
